    This Act may be cited as the National Sickle Cell Awareness Day Act.

    Throughout Canada, in each and every year, the nineteenth day of June is to be known as “National Sickle Cell Awareness Day”.

    For greater certainty, National Sickle Cell Awareness Day is not a legal holiday or a non-juridical day.
