  • 1Short title

    This Act may be cited as the Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (“Holodomor”) Memorial Day Act.

  • 2Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (“Holodomor”) Memorial Day

    Throughout Canada, in each and every year, the fourth Saturday in November shall be known as “Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (“Holodomor”) Memorial Day”.

  • 3Not a legal holiday

    For greater certainty, Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (“Holodomor”) Memorial Day is not a legal holiday or a non-juridical day.
