    For greater certainty, the acquisition by the Federal District Commission of parts of lots 3a, 3b and 4b, Range 5 of the Official Cadastre for the Township of Hull, Registry Division of Gatineau, Province of Quebec, by indenture made on the 31st day of May, 1954 and registered in the Office of the Registry Division of Gatineau under number 34984 is deemed, for all purposes, to have had, and to continue to have, the same force and effect as if it had been made with the previous consent of the Governor in Council pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Federal District Commission Act, chapter 112 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1952, repealed by section 28 of chapter 37 of the Statutes of Canada, 1958.
